Essential Oil Dermal Dilution Guide

Different applications require different dilutions 🤔

This is for more effective oil 💧use. The skin on the face 🧖‍♀️ is delicate and requires less oil, while dermal wounds in less sensitive areas of the body may benefit from more oil.

This approach also reduces the risk of sensitization 😉 which is so important to consider because we want to be able to use our oils as a health tool long term. If we become sensitized, we risk losing the use of all oils 😯. Also keep in mind that not all.oils are appropriate for dermal use and we teach what oils in our online course 😊

Dilution Guide Chart

  • Facial including cosmetics ~ 0.2 - 1.5% dilution

  • Aroma Massage ~ 1.5 - 3% dilution
